Unlike standard Math.random(), which is pseudo-random and predictable over time, our generator leverages window.crypto.getRandomValues(). This pulls entropy directly from system-level noise (thermal, atmospheric, or hardware interrupts), ensuring that the generated strings meet the strict requirements of FIPS-compliant security standards.
The Brute-Force Resistance Curve
The security of a password is measured in 'Bits of Entropy'. A 16-character password using uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols provides approximately 95 bits of entropy. At current computational speeds, cracking such a sequence would take billions of years, making it effectively immune to non-quantum brute-force vectors.
